What is Amongst Plebs?

'Plebs' meaning is usually the first question we get. On Bitcoin reddit or Bitcoin Twitter and now 'X' plebs usually addresses any Bitcoiner. The word has caused some heated debates, I won't lie. However, whilst down the Bitcoin rabbit hole and learning about the internet of money with strangers on social media platforms, at some point the word 'pleb' was born.

Plebs meaning:
Initially at the bottom of Rome's social and political hierarchy, the plebeians were essential to its economy, military, and culture as farmers, artisans, soldiers, and eventually, as businessmen and traders.

Over time, through the Struggle of the Orders, the plebeians found their true purpose and successfully gained significant political rights and influence, achieving legal and social equality with the patricians, including the right to hold public office and the ability to pass laws for all Romans.

The Roman plebs went from being the patricians' errand runners to pivotal players in Rome's drama, turning their struggle for rights into the ancient world's most epic glow-up—and all without a single social media campaign.
